Rosanna Herrera-Garcia

Rosanna Herrera-Garcia works in the field of GIS at the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is also an Instructor at the College of Southern Nevada, teaching computer aided design and drafting. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is currently working toward a Masters of Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma at Nellis Air Force Base. Rosanna’s work at SNWA includes creating maps and databases for environmental assessment, biological assessments, and environmental planning.

Rosanna has served as a member of the Las Vegas Indian Center Board of Directors and is currently serving an Internship with the City of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs. Her interests and academic focuses include art awareness in technological processes, the potential of art in Human Relations, Native American issues, and developing sustainable cultures.
